Do not treat the simulator's current recommendation as an oracle. The score is a teaching heuristic. Your evidence comes from the displayed constraints and the reasoning you can defend.

A strong note might say:

With the network unavailable, the cloud path cannot satisfy the required function. The local model fits the simulated device budget, so edge placement preserves inference in this case. This does not prove edge is superior under every cost, update, or quality requirement.

Evidence to save

• one edge-favoring configuration;
• one cloud-favoring configuration;
• the constraint that changed your decision;
• one failure mode for the chosen architecture;
• one fallback you would still require.
