Rocket League Week 14: Performance Assessment
Rocket League performance cannot be judged only by goals, saves, or shots. Team value also includes rotation discipline, pressure, useful touches, boost management, recoveries, demos, passes, and avoiding double commits.
Context Matters
A player with fewer goals may be stabilizing the team as third man. A player with many shots may be giving away possession with low-quality attempts. A save may look good because the previous rotation was poor.
Worked Example
Player A scores twice but double commits repeatedly. Player B scores zero but keeps spacing, collects small pads, and prevents counterattacks. A fair review weighs both scoreboard and role evidence.
Evidence Task
Build a Rocket League performance card with one scoreboard metric, one rotation metric, one boost metric, and one limitation.
Review Check
A fair assessment explains how the player affected pressure, recovery, and team shape.
