Write what you expected before the change:

Then compare that budget with the actual diff.

If the change exceeded the budget, explain whether the extra work was necessary, avoidable, or a reason to reject the candidate. If it stayed inside the budget, identify the evidence that proves the requested behavior was added without breaking the protected behavior.
