Unit 09 · overview
Unit 9: Cloud Data Science and Low-Code Tools
Cloud changes where computation, data, and tooling live. It also changes cost, privacy, control, reproducibility, and who can access the workflow.
Source lessons
- Introduction to Data Science in the Cloud
- Data Science in the Cloud: The Low-Code/No-Code Way
Do not read these as “cloud is the advanced answer.” Read them as deployment options with different tradeoffs.
What you should be able to prove
By the end of the Unit, you should be able to:
- compare local, managed-cloud, and low-code workflows;
- identify privacy and account dependencies;
- compare reproducibility and control;
- choose a tool based on the actual classroom/problem constraints; and
- name the condition that would make another option better.
Evidence check
Finish with Evidence Check — Make the Deployment Decision.
Runtime boundary
No Azure or paid cloud account is required for core completion. Cloud interfaces in the Microsoft source are instructional resources; the Robotnix evidence check provides the required no-account path.
