League mechanics include last hitting, trading, spacing, cooldown tracking, wave control, ward timing, and ability combos. Mechanics matter most when they support the lane and objective plan.

Mechanic Chain

A strong trade checks minion wave, cooldowns, level difference, jungle threat, and escape route. A player who wins a trade but dies to an obvious jungle path made a poor full decision.

Worked Example

A mid laner uses all cooldowns to poke, then has no ability to escape a gank. The repair is not only better mechanics. It is cooldown discipline and ward timing before aggressive trading.

Record one lane trade. Note wave position, cooldowns used, vision state, health change, and whether the trade helped the lane plan.
