League of Legends Week 9: Roles and Responsibilities

League roles divide map responsibilities. Top controls side pressure and matchup management. Jungle controls pathing, ganks, vision support, and objectives. Mid controls central pressure and rotations. Bot carries scaling damage. Support manages vision, lane protection, engage, peel, and map movement.

Role Discipline

A role is not a prison, but it is a responsibility. If support never wards, jungle cannot safely contest objectives. If lanes ignore wave state, roams become weak. If carries chase alone, teamfight structure collapses.

Worked Example

Dragon spawns in forty seconds. Bot lane recalls late, support has no wards, and jungle enters river alone. The team loses objective before the fight starts. The repair is objective setup timing by role.

Evidence Task

Make a role chart for dragon setup. Include top, jungle, mid, bot, and support responsibilities.

Review Check

A good League role plan shows who creates pressure, who controls vision, and who protects the objective.
