Dota 2 Week 10: Map Control, Vision, and Roshan
Dota map control is shaped by lanes, towers, jungle entrances, wards, smoke movement, teleport threats, and Roshan. Vision does not just reveal enemies. It changes where the team can safely farm and fight.
Control Questions
Which towers are alive? Where are wards placed? Which lanes are pushed? Can the team enter Roshan safely? Who can teleport to punish? What area should be denied to the opponent?
Worked Example
A team starts Roshan with lanes pushed against them and no vision on enemy supports. The opponent arrives first. The repair is to push lanes, place vision, smoke or bait, then commit.
Evidence Task
Draw a Roshan setup map with ward locations, lane state, enemy threat paths, and retreat route.
Review Check
A Dota map-control plan should explain what area the team owns and why.
