Dota 2 Week 11: Communication and Cooldowns

Dota communication should track information that changes fights: missing heroes, teleport status, smoke, wards, Roshan timer, rune timing, buyback, ultimate cooldowns, item timings, and lane pressure.

Useful Call Format

A useful call is short and actionable: "Black Hole down ninety," "carry has BKB, group after top wave," "smoke missing, play under vision." These calls tell the team when to fight, farm, or back up.

Worked Example

Weak call: "Careful."

Stronger call: "Three missing, no river vision, Roshan possible, push mid then ward." The stronger call names the information gap and the response.
