Valorant Week 7: Rules, Rounds, and Win Conditions
Valorant is a round-based tactical shooter. The main win condition is not "get the most eliminations." Attackers usually need to plant and defend the spike or eliminate the defenders. Defenders need to prevent the plant, defuse the spike, or eliminate attackers. Every round also changes the next round through economy, ult charge, and weapon choices.
Core System
A Valorant decision combines position, utility, time, spike status, and numbers alive. A player who wins a duel but loses the spike in an unrecoverable location may damage the team plan. A player with fewer eliminations may still create value by gathering information, using smoke correctly, delaying a push, or protecting the spike carrier.
Worked Example
Attackers have forty seconds left, spike is near B main, and defenders still control the site. A weak call is "just go B." A stronger call is "controller smoke market and defender spawn, initiator clear close site, spike plants safe, sentinel watches flank." This names roles, timing, and objective value.
Evidence Task
Create a Valorant round card with: side, spike status, time, economy state, agent roles, and the next team call.
Review Check
A good round decision explains how the team wins the round, not just how one player gets a highlight.
