Week 2 Battery Risk Log
Week 2 ends with a decision log, not a diary entry.
Use the fictional swollen-pack incident from this week and produce a record that another student could read tomorrow without needing you beside them.
Your final battery decision
Write one paragraph that answers all four questions:
- What abnormal evidence was present?
- Which normal-service assumption did that evidence break?
- What disposition did you choose: normal service, hold for review, or no-go?
- Why did you choose it without needing to prove the exact internal battery failure?
Keep the distinction between condition and function visible. A pack previously providing power is not the same thing as current evidence supporting normal use.

Incident-review reflection
Answer these three prompts in two or three sentences each:
- Which observation was easiest to over-interpret, and what stronger wording did you use instead?
- Which corrective control would improve the system most: labeling/status, history tracking, setup documentation, or escalation ownership? Defend one choice.
- What evidence would you still need before making a stronger root-cause claim?

Your log is complete when it shows a clear no-go or review boundary, separates observations from assumptions, and leaves one honest statement about what the evidence cannot prove.
