Week 15 Product Evidence Log

Your Week 15 log is a stakeholder claim audit.

Pick one output from the supplied project and show how far its evidence can travel before the claim becomes too strong.

Product identity

Record:

  • product type: orthomosaic, point cloud, elevation product, 3D model, or another supplied output;
  • intended stakeholder;
  • intended decision;
  • one use the product is not validated for.

Validation snapshot

Summarize:

  • scale/georeference source;
  • checkpoint evidence;
  • strongest area of the project;
  • weakest area;
  • appropriate reporting precision.

Claim classification

Write one example of each:

  • observation;
  • measurement;
  • interpretation;
  • recommendation.

Make sure the recommendation does not pretend to prove more than the previous three statements established.

Report repair

Find one sentence in the supplied report that overclaims.

Show:

ORIGINAL:
...

REVISED:
...

Explain which limitation forced the rewrite.

Presentation-versus-evidence check

Name one visual feature that makes the product persuasive—3D rendering, color ramp, annotation, precise decimals, clean layout, or another design element.

Then write what evidence is actually required before that visual should influence a stakeholder decision.

Exit standard

A strong Week 15 log makes the intended use, validation strength, unsupported uses, and limitations travel with the mapping product instead of getting lost when the report leaves the classroom.
