Week 10: National Airspace and Authorization Planning
This week, you will build airspace verification checklist for a bounded Drone Engineering scenario. The work stays in classroom-safe analysis, supplied evidence, simulation, planning, and documentation. It does not authorize real flight or unsupervised hardware work.
The engineering problem
A school site appears close to controlled airspace on a planning map.
The core idea is that airspace is part of the system even when the aircraft is still in the classroom. Students will connect that idea to location, altitude, controlled airspace, LAANC availability, restrictions, and current notices shape whether a real operation may be requested.
