Prerequisite Checkpoint: Produce a Repeatable Startup Record

Close this route with a Startup Evidence Record that another engineer can reproduce.

Include:

  • workspace/package prerequisite status;
  • shell/overlay state;
  • launch command or supplied startup configuration;
  • expected node/process inventory;
  • independently observed graph state;
  • one controlled failure and recovery note;
  • Java/WPILib integration status.

Use explicit labels:

ROS STARTUP VERIFIED
ROS STARTUP PARTIAL
JAVA-TO-ROS INTEGRATION NOT DEMONSTRATED
PHYSICAL ROBOT STATUS NOT DEMONSTRATED

Do not turn a successful launch into a broader readiness claim than the evidence supports.

This route now serves as the final prerequisite startup check before the bridge moves into cross-layer recovery and readiness defense.
