Week 10 · lesson

Positive Interaction Project

You now have Version 1 plus peer review evidence.

Version 2 must show what changed and why.

Revision chain

Original problem
  -> Version 1
  -> Peer test
  -> Failure evidence
  -> Revision
  -> Version 2

Prototype options

Possible project types include onboarding, post-match protocol, broadcast guide, community chat system, spectator plan, or recognition system.

Different outputs are fine.

Common evidence standard is required.

Required project sections

  1. Problem statement
  2. Participants
  3. Desired experience
  4. Interaction flow
  5. Ownership and backup roles
  6. Inclusion and access checks
  7. Digital-citizenship checks where relevant
  8. Conflict and failure path
  9. Evidence from testing
  10. Revision summary

Simulation requirement

Run Version 2 with someone outside design team.

Designers cannot narrate every step.

Record:

Confusion points
Questions asked
Missed steps
Successful interactions
Unexpected responses
Completion status

Success indicator

Each team defines one observable indicator tied to goal.

Examples:

  • onboarding: participant explains next step without help
  • conflict path: participant identifies escalation owner
  • digital safety: participant selects correct audience and consent action

Evidence discipline

Do not invent numeric impact claims from one classroom run.

Use bounded statements supported by observed behavior.

Defense

In approximately 3 minutes explain:

  1. problem solved
  2. assumption in Version 1
  3. what broke
  4. what changed in Version 2
  5. what evidence suggests improvement

Audience challenge prompts

Each audience group asks one: failure, privacy, inclusion, conflict, or evidence question.

Final requirements

Positive Interaction Prototype must include:

  • one specific interaction problem
  • participants and roles
  • Version 1
  • peer-review evidence
  • at least one discovered failure
  • Version 2
  • visual flow
  • inclusion and citizenship checks
  • conflict response path
  • one simulation
  • observable evidence
  • one next improvement

Exit ticket

Complete:

  1. Version 2 is stronger because...
  2. Most important evidence is... because...

This lesson synthesizes Learn with League and Cybersmile concepts into a design-test-revise project sequence.
