DigitalLearn Lab: Google Drive
Open the official DigitalLearn Google Drive course materials and complete the learner activity available there.
DigitalLearn provides the source practice. This Robotnix lesson adds evidence about location, organization, and sharing because those are the skills that make the activity useful after the tutorial ends.
Before you start
Use the school-managed Google Workspace environment. Work only with your own course-safe files or files intentionally supplied for the lesson. If a DigitalLearn step expects an option that school policy disables, do not work around the restriction. Record the difference.
Run the source activity
Follow the DigitalLearn activity through the Drive operations it provides. As you work, watch for three different kinds of change:
- location change — where a file appears;
- organization change — name, folder, or search behavior;
- access change — who can view/comment/edit.
Not every activity step changes all three.
Add the evidence trace
Choose three source-activity actions and complete this record:

If one action changes permissions, name the identity or audience and the role. Do not write simply “shared.”

A changed menu location does not automatically make the learning goal obsolete. The activity is a chance to separate durable concepts from temporary interface details.
Lab exit
Keep four things:
- the completed DigitalLearn learner activity;
- your three-row evidence trace;
- one permission or location decision explained in a sentence;
- one source/interface or school-policy limitation if you encountered one.
Do not submit private Drive listings or unrelated files just to prove you used Drive.
