DigitalLearn Lab: Google Sheets

Open the official DigitalLearn Google Sheets course materials and complete the learner activity available from the source page.

DigitalLearn provides the guided Sheets practice. Robotnix adds an audit that asks what the spreadsheet means, not only whether the requested formatting or formula appears.

Complete the source activity

Follow the DigitalLearn activity using the school-managed Google Workspace environment. If the source interface differs from current Sheets, record the difference and use the verified current path.

Use source-supplied or synthetic data. Do not paste real student records into the sheet for practice.

Add a formula explanation

Choose one formula or calculation from the source activity. Record:

One way the formula could be wrong even if it calculates successfully:

If the source activity does not use a formula, add a small course-safe SUM, AVERAGE, or other appropriate calculation to the practice sheet and trace it.

Add a chart or table claim audit

If the source activity creates a chart, write one observation the chart supports and one claim it does not support.

If no chart is included, inspect one table result and state the current data scope: all records or a filtered subset.

Example:

The chart shows Device C has the highest battery percentage among the five supplied records. It does not show Device C has the best battery health over time.

Verify one state change

Choose an action such as sort, filter, formula copy, or formatting/data change. Write the state before and after, then explain how you verified the result rather than simply trusting the interface.
