DigitalLearn Lab: Google Slides

Open the official DigitalLearn Google Slides course materials and complete the learner activity available there.

The current source page lists an Activity Sheet, Design Document, Handout, Presentation, and one practice image. Those remain DigitalLearn source materials. Robotnix adds a communication and accessibility audit after the guided practice.

Use the source activity

Complete the applicable DigitalLearn Slides learner steps in your school-managed account. If the source provides the practice image, use it only within the source activity and retain its attribution/source context.

If your current school Slides interface differs from the handout, record the mismatch and the verified current result.

Audit the finished source practice

Choose two slides or two slide states from the activity.

Communication check

For each slide, finish this sentence:

The audience should notice ______ because ______.

If you cannot finish it without listing four unrelated ideas, the slide may be doing too many jobs.

Visual-source check

For each nontrivial image, chart, or imported visual, identify whether it is:

• DigitalLearn source material;
• your original work;
• another reusable source with permission/attribution.

Do not assume search-engine discovery equals reuse permission.

Accessibility check

Inspect at least three: text amount, contrast, color-only meaning, image description, chart labels, reading order/structure, speaker notes.

Lab exit

Keep:

1. completed DigitalLearn Slides activity;
2. two-row evidence table;
3. one visual source/permission note;
4. one accessibility revision;
5. one interface/policy difference if present.
