Week 05: Digital Citizenship and Account Safety
School esports connects students to platforms, team spaces, accounts, chat, clips, and people they may not know well. This week makes a practical distinction: students can represent themselves and their team with care without sharing more information, taking more risks, or handling more conflict than the situation requires.

Pause before you post, verify before you act, and involve the right adult before a small risk becomes a larger one.
Students do not investigate other people, share credentials, retaliate publicly, or solve urgent safety concerns alone. The course gives them a clear response path: preserve what is relevant when safe, use the correct reporting channel, and bring a trusted adult into the situation.
