Week 14 · lesson
Evaluation Rubric Lab
Create a role-aware rubric for an esports team or event crew.
Required Categories
Include four categories:
- role execution
- communication
- objective or task contribution
- review evidence
For each category, write a clear description of beginning, developing, and ready performance.
Inspect a Completed Rubric Row Set
The sample does not measure talent or personality. It describes behavior that a player or crew member can observe and improve.
| Category | Beginning | Developing | Ready |
|---|---|---|---|
| Role execution | Needs repeated reminders about the assigned responsibility. | Completes the responsibility in routine situations. | Completes it and reports a constraint before it becomes a team problem. |
| Communication | Calls are vague or arrive after a decision. | Names useful information with occasional prompting. | Gives location, condition, and requested response in time for action. |
| Objective or task contribution | Cannot connect actions to the shared goal yet. | Explains how one action supported the goal. | Chooses and defends an action using the stated objective and evidence. |
| Review evidence | Uses general impressions only. | Brings one timestamp, note, or record. | Connects evidence to a specific adjustment for the next attempt. |
Limitation Note
Add one paragraph explaining what the rubric does not measure. This protects the team from overclaiming.
Quality Bar
The rubric should help a student improve. If it only sorts students, revise it.
