Capstone Scope
The final capstone is an esports organization or event package. Scope control matters. A small complete project is better than a huge vague one.
Scope Boundary
A good capstone names the audience, event or team format, required roles, evidence artifacts, risk controls, and final report. It does not need a perfect live event. It needs a defensible plan and evidence that the team can operate it.
Worked Example
Weak scope: "Run an esports tournament."
Better scope: "Design a four-team after-school Rocket League event with bracket rules, production checklist, conduct plan, role chart, and post-event review packet."
Artifact: Capstone Scope Card
Write the project title, audience, format, roles, artifacts, and one risk.
Common Failure
Do not choose a capstone that requires accounts, games, equipment, or permissions the class cannot actually access.
Check
The scope is ready if the team can start building artifacts immediately.
