Week 13 · lesson
Turning Review Into Practice
Review is incomplete until it changes practice. A team that watches mistakes without designing drills will repeat the same mistakes.
From Moment to Drill
Pick one review finding and convert it into a controlled practice task. If the issue was noisy communication, practice a thirty-second scenario with limited callouts. If the issue was early rotation, practice the trigger phrase and require confirmation before movement.
Worked Example
Review finding: players entered an objective with no information. Practice task: run three scenarios where the information player must make a confirmed or unknown call before the team commits. Success means the team waits for the information rule every time.
Artifact: Practice Conversion
Write one review finding, one drill, one success condition, and one way to make the drill harder.
Common Failure
Do not create drills that only repeat gameplay. A drill isolates one behavior so the team can improve it.
Check
The drill should be short, observable, and tied to one review finding.
