Role-Aware Evaluation
Different roles create value in different ways. A fair evaluation system respects that. If every player is judged by the same narrow statistic, the team will reward the wrong behavior.
Role Evidence
A caller may be evaluated on decision timing and clarity. A support player may be evaluated on enabling teammates. An entry player may be evaluated on first-contact decisions and trade setup. An event producer may be evaluated on reliability, transitions, and issue handling.
Worked Example
Two players have similar scoreboard numbers. One followed the plan and created objective pressure. The other chased low-value plays and left the team exposed. Role-aware evaluation separates the two.
Artifact: Role Evidence List
Choose three roles and write two evidence points for each. Each evidence point must be observable.
Common Failure
Avoid hidden criteria. Players should know what evidence will be used before evaluation happens.
Check
A teammate should be able to look at the role evidence list and understand what good work looks like.
