Revision and Handoff

Final work should be usable by someone else. A handoff explains what changed, what still needs attention, and how the next team should continue.

Revision Log

A revision log records the original issue, the change made, the evidence behind it, and the remaining limitation. This prevents teams from pretending the first draft was perfect.

Worked Example

Issue: result disputes were unclear. Change: added screenshot requirement and rules lead verification. Evidence: scenario test showed conflicting reports. Remaining limitation: screenshot access depends on device policy.

Artifact: Handoff Note

Write a handoff note for next semester's team. Include what is ready, what needs testing, and what should not be changed without evidence.

Common Failure

Do not hand off only final products. Hand off reasoning.

Check

A future team should understand both the plan and the reasons behind it.
