Inspect a Completed Charter Slice

This small example makes ownership and limits visible. It is not a complete charter; it shows the kind of claim each section should contain.

SectionExample charter statement
PurposeRun a school esports event that produces an auditable result and a respectful participant experience.
AudienceStudent competitors, school audience members, and the adult event lead.
RolesThe operations lead owns timing; the rules lead records rulings; the production lead owns announcements.
Conduct ruleCritique the decision or evidence, not the person; route conduct concerns to the adult lead.
Dispute processRecord the claim, evidence, ruling, and next action before the bracket advances.
Evidence artifactsRun-of-show, ruling log, results record, incident note, and revision log.
Scope riskA full live broadcast may exceed available staffing, so the event can use a recorded recap instead.

Quality Bar

The charter should make ownership visible. If a task has no owner, the plan is not operational yet.
